The amount of sleep you need is based on several things. Age and health for instance are major factors. You should realize, however, that there is no specific amount of hours that is best for everyone. Everyone is different. Some people have to get in 8 hours of sleep a night to function, while others feel groggy and tired if they get more than 7.
